Responsibilities:

The University Registrar is responsible for the planning and management of registration, grading, and degree conferral activities for all divisions and programs of the University, with over 10,000 degree students and 3,000 continuing education students each term.

The Systems Analyst primarily supports the Registration functions of the university. This position helps direct the overall registration systems and gives feedback and advice to the management regarding effective and efficient operations. This position reports to the Assistant Registrar for Registration.

- Support the Assistant Registrar for Registration in the functional administration of our registration systems including setup, maintenance and troubleshooting.

- Assist in the documentation of processes and policies, and assist in creating and maintaining training manuals.

- Monitor registration system using error reporting to ensure that processes and operations are running as anticipated, content is accurate; forms are functional.

- Evaluate existing processes, develop recommendations, and implement improvements and/or enhancement to services, systems, and processes.

- Monitoring incoming email to ensure timely responses to inquiries and resolution to issues.

- Assist in overseeing the student exit process to ensure compliance and providing support as necessary.

- Create and update call center documentation as well as website information as related to registration.

- Assist in the management of registration error resolution and registration transactions.

- Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree, or a minimum of 2 years’ experience in registration or academic scheduling.

- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to pull, compile, and present data in a meaningful way.

- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the initiative and ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks.

- Excellent conflict resolution, decision-making, and implementation skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to work with various university constituents, communicate with clarity, provide excellent customer service and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.

- Demonstrated ability to initiate, coordinate, oversee, and complete various projects with minimal supervision.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with university operations, programs, and procedures related to registration or scheduling.

- Technical fluency with Banner, Hyperion Brio, Argos. Tableau or other reporting software.

- Experience in developing and facilitating training to both technical and non-technical users.
