Responsibilities:

Seeking a graduate student to help with both routine and advanced assistant jobs (e.g., copying, scanning, preparation of syllabi, writing up reports, and editing documents) as well as research help with library and internet bibliographic searches. The student will produce write-ups on topics related to Russian politics and culture and broader aspects of international affairs, news, propaganda and other forms of media and communication.

Minimum Qualifications:

Must have superior writing and editorial skills and creative initiative. Must be reliable, able to follow directions as well as to work independently without close supervision; should be able to conduct bibliographic searches at the library and on-line. Some knowledge of Russian language, history and politics is a plus.

Must be a full-time graduate student, enrolled in Fall 2017.
