The Parsons Fashion Study Collection consists of approximately 4,000 pieces of 19th and 20th century couture and ready-to-wear fashion by a noteworthy group of over 65 influential designers. The collection is currently in the process of being organized and cataloged. Throughout this process, employees are needed to assist the Collections Manager with unpacking boxes, organizing racks, vacuuming garments, photographing garments, and tagging garments. Employees might be requested to work on data entry, object based research, and other collections maintenance duties as needed. General knowledge of fashion history and archival experience is preferred, but not required.

The Parsons Fashion Study Collection consists of approximately 4,000 pieces of 19th and 20th century couture and ready-to-wear fashion by a noteworthy group of over 65 influential designers. The collection is currently in the process of being organized and cataloged. Throughout this process, employees are needed to assist the Collections Manager with unpacking boxes, organizing racks, vacuuming garments, photographing garments, and tagging garments. Employees might be requested to work on data entry, object based research, and other collections maintenance duties as needed. General knowledge of fashion history and archival experience is preferred, but not required.
