1. For both 2017 fall and 2018 spring, I am looking for a research assistant(s) who will work with me on designing and continuing research about media and immersive technologies in the STEM curriculum at the Learning Community Charter School in Jersey City, NJ. Building on the accomplishments of the MFA DT and LCCS collaboration studio we created in spring 2016, 2017. The assistant will continue to assist me with research about the creation of STEM educational experiences for middle-school students. The studio we teach bring together graduate students and middle school students to create stories with immersive technologies that includes Web GL and other code-based solutions.

2. The research assistant will continue to do a literature review and create an annotated bibliography that will be a resource for the Immersive Storytelling Minor and writing I will be doing on this quickly changing field.

3. Round Two of The Immersive Storytelling Symposium possibly in the form of a workshop will be planned for Spring 2019 for which the assistant will do grant research and assist with pulling together grant applications.

Minimum Qualifications:

Excellent ability to do research
Communication – verbal and written
Excellent organizational skills.
Wordpress and/or web coding and graphic design skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge and interest in the augmented, virtual and mixed reality fields.
Past experience with assistance on grant research.
