Job Purpose: The Student Programming Assistant works directly with Student Office Assistants on the coordination of food runs and the collection and logging of expense receipts on database.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist with answering telephones, running errands on and off campus, and post fliers around campus when needed.
• Coordinate food runs for student groups and one-time programs.
• Update food run calendar.
• Collect, scan and make copies of food run receipts.
• Log expenses on expense database.
• Work with Office Assistants to reconcile account payables.
• Follow up on the removal of taxes, and inform the office of Student Organizations about groups that are reaching or over budget.

Minimum Qualifications:

Job Qualifications:

• Must be a registered New School student.
• Excellent organizational and follow up skills.
• Proficient in Goggle and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) applications.
• Basic knowledge of excel formulas and formatting.
• Able to take initiative.
• Have a positive approach and attitude.
• Have great interpersonal and social skills.
• Be a self-starter who is highly motivated, detail-oriented, and organized.
