Responsibilities:

The Psychology Department at The New School for Social Research and Eugene Lang College is seeking to fill an Assistant Professor, tenure-track, full-time faculty position to begin in Fall 2018.

A licensed or license-eligible clinical psychologist is sought with expertise in community psychology, global mental health, trauma and psychosocial interventions. An active research agenda with existing and promising publications is required.

Our teaching load is the equivalent of five courses per year which consists of four classroom courses, and includes both graduate and undergraduate teaching, with the usual non-teaching duties; the fifth course is comprised of dissertation supervision. We seek candidates with promise of excellence in research as well as teaching.

The review of applications will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled. The start date for the position is July 2018.
